Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Jepson Wrestling finished its season this weekend at the Northern California TOC wrestling tournament in Loomis, Ca.  In order to wrestle in this event athletes must place at qualifying tournaments during the middle school season.  The tournament is considered the hardest middle school tournament in California.  This year Jepson sent 13 wrestlers Tyler Riley, Logan Valledor, Noah Waldron, Jason Brauning, Ethan Birch, Nathan Wold, Jake Hansen, Hayden Marino, Vincent Colozza, Anthony Toledo-Bakas, Lucas Levengood, Stewart McCracken, and Parker Kenner.  Coming away from the tournament with medals were Logan Valledor going 3-3 and placing 6th at 76 pounds.  Ethan Birch also placed 6th at 103 going 4-3.  Jepson Head Coach Chris Marino was awarded TOC Coach of the Year for his efforts in Jr. High wrestling over the last 17 years.

7th graders - Remember to get your elective forms turned in to your study hall teacher today or elective choices will be made by counseling. If you didn’t get a form, ask your study hall teacher or pick one up in counseling. Be sure your parent signs the bottom of the form.

End of third quarter is today. Make sure all your missing work is turned in. We have a minimum day so teachers can work on your grades.

Next Wednesday, we will have a crane behind G hall for part of the morning, removing equipment from the roof.  Please try to avoid this area as much as possible, for safety purposes. You will not be allowed in this area, please take the other way around.

Speaking of construction, we are ready for our next move. On Monday, teachers in C Hall will be back in their home classrooms.  G Hall will be moved to interim housing.  The locations for these rooms are as follows:

Winsor  I45 ( Black Computer Lab)

Cooney  - P4

Moland -  H37

Williams – P3

Power – P1

Morris – Library (Gold) Computer Lab

Student Council will be selling Yuda Bands during both lunches. They are leather type bracelets with a variety of symbols on them. Cost will be $7.  Here’s student council telling you more about them. (The money raised will go towards Guatemalan students to attend school.  We would like to sponsor 1-2 students this year.  See Mrs. Harrison if you have any questions!)
